Locate Buckle Strap's Metal
Retainer
Turn the child restraint over
and locate buckle strap's metal
retainer.
5.
Insert Metal Retainer
Through Shell and Pad
Rotate buckle strap's metal
retainer, then insert retainer up
through the shell and pad.
6.
Remove Buckle from Child
Restraint
From the front, pull buckle strap
free from shell and pad.

You must remove the harness straps to remove the pad
from the shell. See section C-7.

Remove Headrest Pad
Remove headrest pad by pulling
up on either lower corner of pad.

Release the Elastic Straps
(on select models)
From the back of the shell,
release the elastic straps on
the top and sides of the child
restraint.
NOTE:
elastic straps may vary by
model.
b.
Pull the elastic strap that is
just below the belt positioning
guide through the hole above
the UAS attachment hole.
Repeat for other side.
c.
Remove elastic straps from
bottom of child restraint.
NOTE:
elastic straps may vary by
model.

Remove Lower Harness
