FRONT WHEEL BEARINGS
(Fig, 5-7) .
Front wheel bearings are pre-packed
and sealed. They are to be replaced
when they become worn or damaged.
1. Remove dust cap (A).
2. Remove retainer (B).
3. Remove wear washers (C).
4. Remove wheel from spindle.
5. Drive old bearings (D) out of
wheel wnh a hammer and punch.
Insert punch from opposne side for
easier removal.
6. Install bearing into wheel hub.
Wnh a soft-faced hammer, tap
bearing into place on the outer flange
of the bearing.
NOTE: AVOID HITIINGTHE
CENTER OF BEARING. THIS
COULD DAMAGE THE BEARING.
