Using the external sound control

The external sound control function switches between Noise cancelling and Ambient sound.

While wearing this unit, touch the touch sensor (A)
twice quickly.
• The mode is switched each time you touch the touch sensor
twice quickly. (A guidance message will notify you of the mode
you switched to.)
Noise cancelling
• The default level setting is "Noise cancelling".
• When the "Technics Audio Connect" app is used, you can set to "OFF".

Adjust the volume of the playback device.
∫ Noise cancelling
Reduces the sounds (noise) you can hear from outside.
• Noise cancelling can be optimized with the "Technics Audio Connect" app. Adjust it beforehand to achieve the best
condition.
• While using the noise cancelling function, a very small amount of noise which is generated from the circuit that
reduces noise may be heard, but this is normal and not indicative of any trouble. (This very-low-level noise may be
heard in quiet places or in the blank parts between tracks.)
∫ Ambient sound
You can hear ambient sound through the microphones embedded in this unit while enjoying music.

• You can change the functions assigned to the touch sensors on the "Technics Audio Connect" app (free of charge).
