@ Standby indicator
Goes out when power is turned on; lights when power is set
to standby.

® Power standby/on switch
This is the switch for electric power.
On:
When set to the on position, power is supplied
and the unit becomes operational.
Standby:
When
set to the standby position, the main
power flow is cut and the unit is no longer fully
operational. A minute flow of power feeds the
unit to maintain operation readiness.
When the standby indicator lights, the unit is in
STANDBY.
© RF Att button
Press this RF attenuator button if the excessive strength of FM
signals results in distortion. The RF ATT indicator will light in
the display section.

This function does not operate during AM broadcasts.
@ FM/AM button
Each time you press the button, the band changes as follows.
ee FM —» AM (MW) —» AM (LW) _]
Tuning Up+ Down- button
Use to tune broadcast stations.
@© Auto/Manual button
When this button is pressed, the tuning function changes
alternately as follows:
Automatic tuning mode
("AUTO" indicator lights)

Manual tuning mode
("AUTO" indicator goes out).
@ Auto tuning is not possible on the LW band.
@® Frequency/Station button
Display Section
@ Lights when the Mono button is set to ON (MONO).
(@® Lights when broadcast is received (TUNED).
® Lights during reception of stereo broadcast
(STEREO).
@ Displays the frequency or station.
@ Lights when RF attenuator function is on (RF ATT).
( Lights during auto tuning mode (AUTO).

lorsqu'elle est régiée sur STANDBY (désactivée).

C'est I'interrupteur d'alimentation électrique.
On:
Quand il est dans la position "On", le récepteur est
mis sous tension et peut fonctionner.
Standby:
Quand
il est

"Standby",
!'alimentation en courant principale est coupée et
le récepteur ne peut plus fonctionner. Une alimen-
tation trés faible en courant maintient le récepteur
prét
au
fonctionnement.
Quand
le voyant
"Standby" est allumé, le récepteur est en atiente.

Appuyez sur cette touche si la force excessive des signaux FM
entraine une distorsion. Le temoin RF ATT s'allume dans la
section d'affichage.
@ Cette touche ne fonctionne pas pendant des émissions AM.
@ Touche FM/AM
Chaque fois qu'on appuie sur la touche, la bande change
comme suit.
ee FM —»> AM (MW) —» AM (LW)
Touche de syntonisation ascendante/descendante
(Up+ Down-})
Utilisée pour syntoniser des stations d'émission.

Lorsque cette touche est enfoncée, la fonction de syntonisation
change alternativement comme suit:

Mode de syntonisation manuelle (Témoin "AUTO" éteit) -

La syntonisation automatique n'est pas possible sur la
bande GO (LW).
@® Touche de fréquence/station (Freq/Station)
Section d'affichage
@ S'allume lorsque la touche Mono est enclenchée (MQNIO).
® S'allume lorsqu'une émission est regue (TUNED)
® S'allume pendant la réception d'une émission stréo
(STEREO).
® Affichage la fréquence ou la station.
® S'allume lorsque la fonction d'attenuateur RF es
activée (RF ATT).
(® S'allume pendant le mode de syntonisation
automatique (AUTO).
