Extend both ends fully, and face it in the di-
rection giving best reception.

Replace the supplied T-type FM antenna for an
outdoor antenna.

Set the Mono button to the ON position.
(The broadcast will be received in monaural.)

Try changing the antenna installation place. If
you are using an outdoor antenna, move it
away from the street.

Static

appliances
(particularly
automobiles) or multipath reflection (radio waves
reflected off mountains and tall buildings, hence not
received directly).
{On the AM band]

Poor positioning of AM loop antenna?

Change antenna direction, and set it in the
position giving best reception.
Move the loop antenna away from the unit.

Stop using the noise-generating equipment, or
