52mm Underwater Wide Angle Dome Lens (Item SL054)
1) Overview: The 52mm Wide Angle Dome Lens has a 0.7x magnification for 3X closer shooting distance and 43% wider
field of view. Attaches to SeaLife SportDiver with SL081 Lens Adapter (sold seperatly) or any UW camera with 52mm
threaded lens port. Lens may be attached/removed while underwater. Vignette may occur when using with ultrawide
camera lenses – zoom in slightly to remove vignette. Focus range varies by camera lens used.
2) What's in the box:

3) Mounting the lens – Clean the lens adapter threads before
attaching the lens. Carefully align the 52mm lens to the
underwater housing's threaded lens port and rotate the lens
clockwise until it's "finger-tip" tight – Do not overtighten.

For underwater housings with a 52mm lens port, screw on the wide angle
lens directly onto the lens port.
Note: Applying a thin coating of silicone lube to the threads will
extend the life of the threads and prevent binding.
5) Important:
a) Attach the dome lens cover and rear lens cover when lens is in the rinse bucket to prevent scratches.
b) After entering the water, remove any air trapped between the lens and camera.
c) After each dive, soak the lens in fresh water for about 20 minutes. Dry lens with clean cotton cloth.
d) Do not allow water drops to dry on the lens – It may leave mineral stains.
e) Make sure the neoprene lens cover is free of sand/dirt/debris before attaching it to the lens or it may cause scratches.
f) If necessary, rotate the lens hood so it does not appear in the corners of the picture.
g) The dome lens has a hard coating applied to prevent scratches; however, proper lens cleaning care is required. Brush
or blow away and sand/dirt/debris from the lens surface. Use lens cleaning cloth provided to gently clean fingerprints
and smudges from the lens. Moisten lens cloth with lens cleaner or fresh water if necessary – never use detergents or
chemicals to clean the lens.
h) If the lens vignettes, increase the zoom until vignette disappears.
i) When using with smartphones, select the phone's WIDE lens. The wide lens setting is usually the best quality.
j) Some camera lenses are not compatible and may result in focusing issues.

4) Attaching the lanyard:
Insert looped end of lanyard through hole on side of the lens
Feed the other end of lanyard through looped end and tighten.
Attach other end of lanyard to the camera's lanyard hole. The lanyard
can be separated by pushing the release lever on the center connector
