  • Page 3 Great wide-angle pictures made easy The secret to taking bright and colorful underwater pictures is to get as close as possible to the subject. Without a wide angle lens, you may be too far away from the subject to take a colorful picture. With a wide angle lens, you increase field of view up to 50%.

The only time you should use a wide angle lens without the flash is when there is sufficient sunlight to illuminate the subject.
