Splashing fluid in the eyes or on the skin can also cause a serious injury. Fluid injected into the skin might look like just a cut, but it is a serious injury.

  • Page 10 Operation Apply the Fluid When applying the fluid, keep the gun a consistent distance, about 8 to 12 inches (200 to 300 mm) from the surface of the object being sprayed. Always hold the gun at a right angle from the surface. Do not make an arc with the gun as it causes an uneven coat of fluid.
