Problem
During disc play
The sound lacks clarity and
volume.
Probable cause(s)
The phono cartridge selector is incorrectly set to
the "MM" position when a moving-coil type
cartridge is being used.
Suggested remedy
Set it to the '"'MC" position.

DC voltage appears in the output, causing the
protection circuitry to function.
Maintenance
To clean this unit, use a soft, dry cloth.
For very dirty surfaces, dip a soft cloth in a weak soap-and-water
solution and wring well. After clean ing, wipe with a soft, dry cloth.

¢ Switch OFF the power, and, after determining and
correcting the cause, switch ON the power once
again.
¢ Use a speaker system of the proper impedance
rating.
Never use alcohol, paint thinner, benzine, or a chemically treated
cloth to clean this unit.
Such chemicals may damage the unit's finish.
