    Description Introduction The 5110-N and 5110-W General Purpose Stretcher is a fixed height stretcher which is primarily used to support and transport patients in any treatment or procedures environment, and may be used for general examinations and procedures. The table top is infinitely adjustable from a full horizontal table position to a full sitting position through the use of a pneumatic assist.

    Stretcher Operation True Direction Steering Controls There are two double-ended pedals located on each side of the stretcher. The function is indicated by the color of pedal. Pedal functions and positions are illustrated below: Engage steering by pressing down on the green pedal and then swiveling the caster at the patient’s right foot-end.

    Maintenance Cleaning Mattress Cover with a mild soap and water solution. The mattress cover material is resistant to most medicinal-type stains, but spilled on the upholstery immediately. Also, avoid the use of abrasive cleaners, steel wool, chlorinated bleaches, or solvents. Do not use high pressure water jets, submerge, or sterilize.
