) Solder the resistor leads to the
circuit board as follows:
1. Push the soldering iron tip
against both the lead and the
circuit board foil. Heat both
for two or three seconds.

NOTES:
1.
When you install a component
that has its value printed on it,
position the value marking up,
so it can be easily read. Diodes
should be mounted
with their
type or part number up, if possi-
ble.
Refer to the "Taped Components
Chart" before you begin.
Hold a 900 kQ, 1% (wht-blk-blk-
org) resistor by the body and
bend the leads straight down to
fit the hole spacing on the circuit
board.

2. Then
apply solder to the
other side of the connection.
IMPORTANT:
Let
the
heated lead and the circuit
board foil melt the solder.

3. As the solder begins to melt,
allow it to flow around the
connection.
Then
remove
the solder and the iron and
let the connection cool.
