Cleaning the power head

Perform maintenance when suction power is weak or when dirt becomes a concern.
We recommend periodic maintenance (about once a month).
Dust and debris stuck to the safety switch, rotary brush, brushes, wheels, air inlet, and rotating sections might
cause damage to the floor, reductions in suction power, or malfunctions.
Using the vacuum cleaner while there is dust or lint tangled around the rotary brush or its axle may lead to a malfunction or failure.
CAUTION
Remove attached dust and debris
Use the two-way crevice nozzle or a similar tool to remove any attached dust.

malfunction, wear, or floor damage.
 After extended use, the brushes, wheels, and rotary brush might wear down.
Using the power head while they are worn out might damage the floor.
You cannot replace the brushes or wheels by yourself. Please contact a Hitachi authorized
service agent to have the brushes, wheels, and rotary brush replaced as a set.
