is responsible for ensuring that grounding is available and meets applicable national and electrical codes. Failure
to properly install this product may result in physical injury and/or damage to property.

This 670 Series access point is intended for installation in a RESTRICTED ACCESS LOCATION attached to a pole or
installed on a wall. Installers should disconnect power before working with or near the access point.

Grounding Access Point

Grounding the access point must be completed before powering up the AP. The ground wire should be
#8 AWG.
1. Strip the insulating jacket off of one end of the ground wire and place the bare conductor into the
ground lug (included in the package), then crimp the connection by pressing firmly with the
crimping pliers.
2. Fasten the ground lug to the grounding point on the access point with the screw included in the
package.
