WARNING:
Make sure that the latch on the power
inverter snaps into place and the battery pack is secured
to the power inverter before beginning operation. Failure
to securely seat the battery pack could cause the battery
pack to fall out, resulting in serious personal injury.
To remove
Hold the battery pack with one hand and pull the power
inverter with the other hand to separate them.
WARNING:
Always be aware of location of your
feet and children or pets around you when separating the
battery pack from the power inverter. Serious injury could
result if the battery pack fails. NEVER remove the battery
pack at a high location.
WARNING:
Always remove the battery when the
power inverter is not in use.
TURNING POWER INVERTER ON/OFF (Fig. C)
1. Install the battery pack.
2. To turn the power inverter on, press the power
button and the button will illuminate green, which
indicates the power inverter is activated.
3. To turn the power inverter off, press the power
button again and the green light will turn off, which
indicates the power inverter is deactivated.

LED LIGHT (Fig. D)
The power inverter is equipped with one LED light located
on the top of the unit. The light provides light in low light
conditions or serves as an emergency light beacon.
The LED light could be turned on whenever the power
inverter is activated or deactivated.

In any mode, press and hold the LED button for more
than 1 second and the light will switch into flashing,
"EMERGENCY" mode. Press the LED button again, the
light will shut off.
Working Condition
Standby
The connected USB device(s)
draw(s) no more than 2VA and
the connected AC device draws
less than 5VA.
Powering connected devices
Low battery voltage
The power inverter or battery
pack is overheated.
The power inverter may be
overloaded or short circuited.
Other electronics error.
56 VOLT POWER INVERTER — PAD1800E
If there is no device connected, the power inverter will
shut off automatically in 2 hours.
If devices are connected but the USB output current
is not more than 2VA and the AC output power is less
than 5VA, the power inverter will shut off automatically
in 2 hours.
To turn the LED light, press the LED button. The light
will turn on in low brightness mode.
Press the LED button again to switch to high
brightness mode.
Press the LED button the third time to switch LED light
is off.
Action
Normal operation. The power inverter will
shut off automatically in 2 hours if there is no
device connected.
The power inverter could still power the
devices but will shut off automatically in 2
hours. If this happens, turn the power inverter
back on.
Normal operation.
Charge the battery. See "LOW BATTERY PACK
CHARGE PROTECTION" below.
Allow the unit to cool down, then restart the
inverter. See "OVER TEMPERATURE
PROTECTION" below.
Disconnect device from the AC output port, see
"OVERLOAD OR SHORT CIRCUIT
PROTECTION" below.
Disconnect your device and reconnect it again,
if the same fault reoccurs, please contact EGO
customer service center.
