If the pulse is not detected at the output, pulse the output line (see Figure 4). If the output is not
shorted to Vee or common return, the Logic Probe should indicate a pulse opposite to its original indi-
cation. If not, check for external shorts (solder bridges, etc.) before removing the integrated circuit.
Refer also to Gate-to-Gate Faults paragraph.
