Programs
You can dry your fabrics using either an automatic

program or a timed program.
8.1 Automatic programs
Automatic programs are programs in which humidity
sensors measure the residual moisture in the laundry
during the drying cycle. The program only ends once the
set dryness level is reached.
Each automatic program has a dryness level → Page 23 .
The dryness level defines how dry or damp your laundry is
after the program ends.

Tips
¡ Select the dryness level according to the type of fabric
or the desired drying result.

Description
Activate or deactivate gentle drying.
The temperature is reduced for
delicate fabrics, e.g. polyacrylic or
elastane.
The program duration is extended.
Set the program end time.
The program duration is already
included in the set number of hours.
Once the program has started, the
program duration is displayed.
After you have washed your laundry in
the washing machine, the dryer
recommends a suitable program for
drying the laundry.
Note: The washing machine must be
compatible with Home Connect®. The
washing machine and dryer must be
connected to your home network and
registered in your Home Connect®
app.
