    Product overview and functioning Fields of application The claw vacuum pumps are suitable for sucking out of air or other gases with increased percentage of oxy- gen (content by volume above 21 %). They can be operated in continuous operation at any pressure between 700 mbar (abs.) and an inlet pres- sure of 150 mbar (abs.).

Ø Only authorised specialist personnel that have been trained about the safety regulations for handling of oxygen plants are allowed to install and commis- sion the pump.

    Ø Assuming that the lubricating oil could be mixed with organic substances, it must be replaced immediately. Ø If the machine is polluted with organic substances, it must be put out of oper- ation and cleaned by specialist personnel authorised by Elmo Rietschle.
