surround speaker installation example
To get the best effect out of the surround system,place the
speakers as shown below

You can install the subwoofer anywhere, but installation in the
corner of the room or under the sofa will be most effective.
Avoid blocking the aperture of the speaker box when installing.
NOTE:
This subwoofer omits sound from its rear. Place it at least 20
cm from the nearest wall. The bass volume varies depending
on the distance from the wail. If the boss volume is too low,
place the speaker closer to the wall: if the bass volume is too
loud, move the speaker away from the wall.
Cautions regarding installation
Do not install this speaker system near a stove or other
heating appliance, or in places exposed to the sun. Such
locations may cause the cabinet to change color and the
speaker system to break down.
Using the Base unit of CS-22D.
The Satellite speakers with the attached base unit can be used
as follows.

Cautions regarding fitting
* Before fitting the base unit, examine the walls to confirm
that their strength is sufficient to bear the weight of the
speaker system
* This system is not provided with nuts and screws for
installation, so select suitable ones corresponding to
the qualities of your walls.
« If you are unsure of the qualities and strength of the
walls, consult a professional for advice.
* Pioneer will not be responsible for any accidents or
damage that result from improper installation.
* Be sure to fit the bracket on a vertical wall.
if fitted on a slanted wall, the bracket may become loose
and present a risk of an accident.
The CS-22D stand can be used as shown in the diagram.
