CONNECTIONS
2' Connecting Speaker system CS-22D and Sub-
woofer system S-W33D.
Subwoofer S-W33D
install the attached Plastic Feet
Screws
A medium-sized screwdriver is needed for assembly
1. Set the CD deck receiver's power switch to OFF
2. Connect the speaker cords to the input terminals at the
side of the speaker system; connect the hot-side cord to
the @ terminal and the common-side
cord to the ©
terminal, Bear in mind that the red input terminal has a"@"
polarity. and the other terminal has a "©" polarity.
3. Connect the speaker cords to theCD deck receiver's front
speaker output terminals. Connect the hot-side cord to the
@® terminal and the common-side cord to the © terminal
NOTES:

Connect in parallel the sub woofer's input terminals to
the left (L.) and nght (R) channels of the CD deck receiver's
front speaker output terminals.
In connecting subwoofer terminals, there 1s no discrimi
nation between {L) and (R).

The subwoofer has two input terminals.
Be sure to match connection polarity between the input
terminals and the CD deck receiver's output terminals (Fig.
a, 6).
(2;Turn the thumbscrew
at the tip of the
anti-clockwise, make

wise to fasten into
position.
DStrip the insulation
Cannect the
common-side
speaker cord
to the © terminal.
Connect
the
hot-side speaker
cord to the @
terminal
The subwoofer's input terminals can also be connected
by banana plugs.
When using a vertically installed subwoofer:

* When speaker cords are connected incorrectly, low-
frequency sound may be interrupted and the Subwoofer
may break down when the volume Is increased (Fig. c),
