Storing the strongest broadcast frequencies (BSM)
The BSM (best stations memory) function automatically stores the six strongest
broadcast frequencies under the preset channel keys [1] to [6].
NOTES
• Storing broadcast frequencies with BSM may replace those you have already saved.
• Previously stored broadcast frequencies may remain stored if the number of frequencies stored has
not reached the limit.

stored under the preset channel keys in the order of their signal strength.

Description
Local seek tuning allows you to only tune into
radio stations with sufficiently strong signals.
Set on to enable the RDS function.
Allow the unit to retune to a different frequency
providing the same station.
Receives the traffic announcement, interrupting
the other sources.
Interrupt the currently selected source with
news programmes.
You can switch the seek/manual tuning step for
the AM band.
NOTE
This function is available when [Australia] is selected
in [Location Setting] (page 49).
