CleanSteel (edt/cs) – appliance front
Risk of damage as a result of in-
correct cleaning.
The surface coating will be dam-
aged.
Do not use a stainless steel
cleaner on this surface.
The appliance front has a high quality,
special finish. This finish is resistant to
soiling and is very easy to clean.
Appliance with matt black glass front
Risk of damage as a result of in-
correct cleaning.
The glass front can alter or discolour
if you spot-clean it or remove soiling
when it is dry.
Wipe the entire surface of the glass
front with a wet cloth.
Using a glass-cleaning agent con-
taining additives, e.g. citrus or sim-
ilar, would cause streaking on the en-
tire surface.
Use a glass cleaning agent which
contains a little alcohol but no addit-
ives.
Tip: We also recommend the Miele
ceramic and stainless steel cleaner.
Cleaning the door seal
Risk of damage as a result of in-
correct cleaning.
If you treat the door seal with oils or
grease, it can become porous.
Do not use any oils or grease on the
door seal.
Cleaning and care
The door seal should be cleaned reg-
ularly with clean water, and then
wiped dry with a soft cloth.
Cleaning the ventilation gaps
A build-up of dust will increase the en-
ergy consumption of the appliance.
The ventilation gaps should be
cleaned on a regular basis with a
brush or vacuum cleaner (you could
use a Miele vacuum cleaner dusting
brush, for example).
