AutoPairing
What is Pairing?
A process that enables two-way communication between the TV and the remote control when their MAC addresses
match after the TV saved the MAC address of the remote control and vice versa.
Problems with the Existing Pairing Method
- Users had difficulty in pairing the RF remote control.
<Existing Pairing Method>
1. The Pairing button on the RF remote control is pressed.
2. The TV set is reset. (Power Off → Power On)
3. Pairing is completed.
What is Auto Pairing?
An automatic pairing method that completes the pairing of the TV and the remote control internally without user
intervention when a user operates the remote control after purchasing a TV with a RF remote control.
When the Auto Pairing function is used in a shop, Pairing with a TV may fail.
Therefore, in this case, Pairing should be completed using the existing method.
The Auto Pairing is a simplified pairing method for customer convenience.
