Groups
— Group File
Group File allows you to classify discs into
up to 10 groups. Up to 106 discs can be
registered into one group. and one disc can
belong to up to 10 groups. By classifying
your discs, you can easily locate them by
their genre, artist or your personal
preference. You can also enjoy continuous,
shuffle or repeat play within a certain group.
When you select a disc which is registered
into a group(s), the indicator(s) above the
GROUP 1-10 button(s) light up green to
show the group(s) the disc belongs to.
Assigning a Name toa Group
When you press one of the group 1-10
buttons, the set group name (shown below)
appears. You can input your original group
name instead of it.

CLASSICAL

You can also use the group names above.
lf you do not need to rename them, go to
the next section, "Registering Discs Into
Groups".
1 Press GROUP 1-10 to select the
group.
The set group name appears.
2 Press MEMO INPUT before the group
name disappears.
The initial character of the group name
flashes. Each time you press MEMO
INPUT, the display changes. You can
choose upper or lower case letters. or
numbers.
3 Rotate the JOG dial to select a
character, then press ENTER.
The selected character lights up and the
cursor shifts.
4 Repeat step 3 to enter more
characters, then press FILE.

assign up to 11 characters for a group
name.
