Using the Cancel button: When the bread carriage lever is lowered, toasting will begin. To stop or interrupt toasting, press the “Cancel” button. The appliance will stop working immediately and the bread will pop-up automatically. Do not switch the browning control during toasting. Press the “Cancel” button to turn off the appliance, turn the browning control to adjust the shading level and lower the bread carriage lever to restart toasting. -

• If toasting one slice only, use a lower setting than normal to avoid over-toasting. NOTE: You will also notice a slight variation in toast color on one side of a single slice. • Cut the bread slice thinner, if it is thicker than the slots. Do not push the bread into the toaster by force, this will cause burning and jamming within slots. - Page 8 ► Always disconnect the appliance from the supply if it is left unattended and before assembling, disassembling, moving, cleaning and storing. ► Never pull the power cord to disconnect the appliance, instead grasp the plug and pull it to disconnect. ► Do not let the power cord hang over the edge of your table or counter, and do not allow the power cord or the appliance to come in contact with hot surfaces.
