Closing the rack
1
Close the rack by turning the
two clamping-screws (1) to fix
the bags in the homogenizing
position.
Removing the ball-bearing head
To replace or clean the ball head, first unscrew the side screw (3) and
then remove the cover. To completely remove the head, remove the
head locking screw (4). When reassembling the head, it is important
to insert the fixing screw (4) in the recess of the metal support. Scan
the QR code to watch a short video tutorial (starts at 0:49).
Immediately remove spills of extraction buffer with a humid soft cloth,
then wipe dry - in particular when buffer entered the ball-bearing head.
Lubrify the two gliding axes (5) daily with a soft cloth, wetted with oil or
by using an anti-corrosion protection spray. Check the holding-screws
of the motor and the rack and tighten them if necessary. Replace the
aluminium bars holding the bags when they look worn. They are made
of „soft" aluminium to prevent the ball-bearing head from damage.
HOMEX 6 contains parts which may rust. Store and operate the HOMEX
