4. Main unit circuits' elements
4.1 TV signal flow
The 75Ω antenna receives the high frequency TV signals, and put the signals into
Tuner TU1 .After processed by the inner circuits of Tuner: High frequency amplify,
mixing, filter , IF amplify, frequency discrimination, preview release, AGC Auto Gain
Control, AFT Auto Frequency Control, PLL Phase‐locked loop filter etc. TU1 output
the intermediate frequency signals(IF_1P, IF_1N). The signals filtered by the band
pass filter and processed by the main IC. This Tuner is SI Tuner. There just has a chip
and little amount of components. So its cubage is very small.
4.2 Intro of MT31B
U104 (MT31B) is a TV decodes IC supporting a lot of functions. It concludes all
standards analog TV decode, digit TV ATSC\DVBC\DVBT decode, CPU with 700MHz,
multi‐format picture sound processor, TV decode IC with 3D comb filter, two HDMI
1.4a (highest speed can be 2.97 GHZ), two channels of LVDS 60Hz outputs,
embedded net dispatcher and MAC, embedded DDR, two serial TS inputs, one serial
TS output or one parallel TS output, one serial TS input, one serial TS out or two
parallel TS inputs.
