GPS NMEA Y-CABLE Installation Guide
Overview
Use the GPS NMEA Y-Cable to connect the Humminbird® GPS Receiver and a NMEA 0183 accessory
to the SOLIX® and ONIX® control heads. We encourage you to read this guide completely before you
start the installation so you may understand the installation requirements.

| Connecting to the GPS Receiver
Use the instructions in this section to connect the Humminbird GPS Receiver to the Y-Cable.
1. Turn off the power for the SOLIX or ONIX control head and each accessory.
WARNING! Turn off power for all related equipment before you start the installation.
2. See the installation guide included with your GPS Receiver to install it on your boat. Make sure
the cable is long enough to accommodate the planned route to the control head. See the GPS
Receiver installation guide for details.
3. Connect the GPS Receiver connector to the connector on the Y-Cable.
