7. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
GETTING STARTED
7.1 TURN POWER ON
Put the power cord into the electrical outlet. Flip the switch to the "ON" position. The screen will wake up.
7.2 SAFETY KEY AND CLIP
The safety key is designed to cut the main power to the treadmill
should your fall. Therefore, insert the safety key into the key holder in
the middle of the console and clip the other end of the safety key to
your clothing; so that in the case that you fall, you will pull the safety
key from the console, which will stop the treadmill immediately to
minimize injury. If you want to stop safely the treadmill during the
training, use the safety key as emergency stop only.
7.3 GETTING ON AND OFF THE TREADMILL
Handle with care when getting on or off the treadmill. Try to use the
handlebars while getting on or off. While you are preparing to use the
treadmill, do not stand on the running belt. Straddle the running belt by
placing your feet on both side rails of the treadmill deck. Place your foot on the belt only after the belt has begun to
move at a consistent slow speed (max 3Km/h). During exercise, keep your body and head facing forward at all
times. Never attempt to turn around on the treadmill when the running belt is still moving. When you have finished
exercising, stop the treadmill by pressing the red stop button. Wait until the treadmill comes to a complete stop
before attempting to get off the treadmill.
7.4 HOW TO USE YOUR WIRELESS HEART RATE CHEST BAND (NOT INCLUDED. OPTIONAL)
Use the Wireless Chest Band to transmit your heart rate directly to the Dashboard. As soon as the Transmitter
senses activity from your heart,
it will be activated.
Step 1: Adjust the band to fit as tight as comfortable, around your chest, just below
your pectoral muscles. Adjust the band so that it is positioned securely and will not fall
or move during your workout.
Step 2: Position the Transmitter (the middle section of the band) with the flat side
against your body, and the logo and rounded, silver surface facing outward away from
your body (centered).
Step 3: Begin your workout and check for a pulse reading on the Dashboard. The heart-
Shaped Icon will flash when it is sensing your heart pulse.
NOTE: Perspiration will help to conduct your heart rate pulses to the Transmitter. If the
Transmitter is not sending a signal, or it seems erratic, consider adding some water to
the back side of the Transmitter, or wait for your own perspiration to help improve the
signal.
It is always recommended to use your wireless chest band when using HRC1 or HRC2 workout programs
7.5 POWER SAVE FUNCTION:
The system has a saving on power function, at the state of waiting for operation, if without any operate, the saving
on power function will be available after 10 minutes, the display will be closed up. You can press any button to
wake up the display.
