Using the Drive with Notebook Computer
About CardBus mode / 16 bit mode
The supplied interface card supports CardBus mode and 16 bit mode.
Make sure that you read specifications in your computer's manual before connecting the
drive to your computer.
E CardBus mode
Use this mode, if your computer supports CardBus mode. With this mode, data will be
read by 3000 KB/s, and this reading transfer rate is maximum speed of the drive.
Besides, your computer's CPU occupation for reading and writing would be much
smaller.
E 16 bit mode
Use this mode, if your computer does not support CardBus mode and the data transfer
speed may become slower than when using CardBus mode.
