Anschlussvarianten
Die StepControl hat 2 Anwendungsvarianten, die in der linken Abbildung dargestellt sind. Diese Varianten
sind auch Entwicklungs- und Ausbauschritte von diesem Produkt „StepControl". Im Jahr 2023 wurde mit der
Variante 1 gestartet und wird mit der Variante 2 fortgesetzt. Die Variante 2 steht beim Produktstart im Jahr
2023 noch nicht zur Verfügung.
Die beiden Varianten sind eigenständig und können voneinander unabhängig umgesetzt werden.
Es wird Anwendungen geben, bei denen die Steuerungsplatine „StepControl-Bridge" aus Platzgründen nicht
verwendet werden kann, z.B. bei kleinen Spurgrößen der Bühne. Die Variante 1 ist mit jeder Spurgröße,
jedem Fahrstrom-Digitalformat und jedem Gleissystem (2-Leiter / 3-Leiter) möglich.
Was ist die StepControl - Bridge?
Hier handelt es sich um eine weitere Steuerungsplatine, die unter der Bühne platziert werden kann. Die
Bühnenplatine kommuniziert über 4 Steuerleitungen mit der StepControl. Je nach StepControl-Bridge
Hardware-Version stehen auf der Bühne folgende Funktionen zur Verfügung:
• 3x Gleisabschnitte für die Belegungsrückmeldung
• Reverser für Polarisierung (2-Leiter-System) integriert
• Servoausgänge z.B. für Flügelsignale
• LED-Ausgänge z.B. für Beleuchtung und Lichtsignale
• Eingänge z.B. für Hallsensoren für Lok-Position
• Schaltausgänge für Verbraucher mit mehr Leistung

Connection Variants

The StepControl has 2 application variants, which are shown by the left figure. These variants are
development and evolution steps of this product „StepControl". In 2023, variant 1 was launched and is
continued with variant 2. Variant 2 is not yet available at the product launch in 2023.
The two variants are self-contained and can be implemented independently of each other.
There will be applications where the module „StepControl-Bridge" cannot be used for space reasons. For
example due to a small size of the bridge.
Variant 1 is possible with any track size, digital format and track system (2-track-system / 3-track-system).
What is StepControl - Bridge?
This module that can be placed under the bridge. The bridge module communicates with the
StepControl via 4 control lines. Depending on the StepControl-Bridge hardware version, the following
functions are available on the bridge:
• 3x track csections for the occupancy detection
• Reverser for track polarization (2-track system) integrated
• Servo outputs for semaphore signals
• LED outputs such as lighting and light signals
• Inputs for hall sensors for loco position
• Switching outputs for consumers with more power demand
