1 Overview
The Auxiliary Driver Cam is recommended for use on larger vehicles when the AI Dash Cam is
located away from the driver. This camera can be mounted on or adjacent to the A-pillar or on
the dash near or in front of the driver. When installed, this camera is used by the DSM
functionality to detect unsafe driver behavior, including driver fatigue, lens covered, operating
a handheld device, smoking, distraction, and yawning.
When the Auxiliary Driver Cam is installed the AI Dash Cam uses the image from this camera to
provide DSM functionality. The in-ward facing camera on the AI Dash Cam can then be used as
a conventional front to back facing camera.
Auxiliary Driver Cam is an IP camera with resolution up to 800p (1280 x 800).
