When the Auxiliary Driver Cam is installed the AI Dash Cam uses the image from this camera to provide DSM functionality. The in-ward facing camera on the AI Dash Cam can then be used as a conventional front to back facing camera.
The following figures show that the Auxiliary Driver Cam is mounted on the Left A Pillar of the vehicle facing the driver. At this position, this camera will focus on the driver’s face and detect any distractions and unsafe driving practices.
