Speed (Flash-OFF)
Depress
the mode
button
until
the
[$83]
symbol
appears on the LCD
panel. In this mode, the flash does not discharge,
and a picture is taken at a slow shutter
speed up
to approx. 2 second. Use it in places
where the
flash photography is prohibited, such as
in the-
aters and museums.
Furthermore,
this mode
is
also useful for a natural existing light effect
in low
ambient photography.

Synchro Shooting
(Flash-On)
Depress
the
mode
button
to set
the
slow-shutter-sync
mode until the | 5 23 | symbol appears on
the LCD
panel. It is possible to photograph
subjects and
background in a balanced way / by using
the built-
in flash to properly expose the foreground
subject
and a slow-speed to expose the
low light back-
ground.
