Before You Begin
1)
Water Condition
a)
Freeze protection can be used, no greater than 50% solution. Any non-automotive Glycol can
be used.
b)
Any time water hardness is greater than 9 (ph), water additives, in line fi lters or fi lling with
distilled water should be used.
2)
Clearances/location
a)
Boiler is designed for wall mounting with zero clearance to combustible materials.
b)
Refer to Table 1 for dimensions and clearances.
c)
Boiler room should be well ventilated, recommended room temperature below 77 degrees.
d)
Boiler must be mounted level on a vertical wall with supply water outlet fi tting on the left side,
return water fi tting on bottom.
e)
Mounting brackets are located on the sides of the boiler.

Tandem boiler installations have two individual boilers in series.
