DISASSEMBLY FOR REPAIR
DISASSEMBLY FOR REPAIR

1. Front Panel, Cassette Mechanism, PC Boards
(Remove the case before proceeding to the following.)
1. Remove 1 screw from each side of the front panel (@).
2. Bend
and
disengage
the 5 lugs on the metallic holder
fixing
the
PC
boards
of the SUB-CIRCUIT
Unit
(1)
(X13-5730-11)
(A/3, B/3, C/3), disconnect the con-
nections of CN2 and CN4 and of CN3 and CN6, and lift
the three PC boards '@ ).
3. Disconnect the flexible cords from CN7 and CN8 of the
SUB-CIRCUIT
Unit (1) (X13-) (C/3) and from CN1 of
the (A/3)( @).
4. Disengage
the 2 lugs fixing the front
panel onto the
chassis, and take out the front panel in the direction of
the arrow (O).

5. Remove
the 2 screws fixing the ELECTRIC
Unit (X25-
3010-11)
(D/4), and take out the PC board together
with the metallic holder 'e ).
6. Remove the 4 screws fixing the cassette mechanism, and
ift the mechanism ( ©).
7. Disconnect
connectors
CN6
and
CN14
on the ELEC-
TRIC
Unit (X25-) (A/4) and CN4 on the DOLBY
Unit
X14-2190-11), and disconnect the flexible cord on the
back
of the mechanism
from CN4
on the ELECTRIC
Unit (X25-) (A/4) ( @).
8, Disconnect connector CN5 on the DOLBY
Unit (X14-)
©).
9. Disconnect
the flexible cords from CN1
on the ELEC-
TRIC
Unit
(X25-)
(A/4) and from CN5 on the SUB-
CIRCUIT Unit (1) (X13-) (B/3) (@).
10. Disconnect
connectors
CN3 and CN15 on the ELEC-
TRIC Unit (X25-) (A/4) (QD).
