MECHANISM OPERATION DESCRIPTION
3. FF Mode
(see page 36 for the description of T.AADV)
In this mode,
the mechanism
operates
in the sequence
from

to © as illustrated below.

Pushing the FF button causes the system control
unit to turn the FF/REW motor (M802) in the
indicated direction.

(FF/REW motor)
The FR gear, which is turned as arrowed, swings the FR
lever as indicated by arrow @ as well as puts the mounted
switch (S807) in the FF position, driving the capstan motor
M901.
Worm gear
FR drive gear (with $807)
Reel mount (F)

The pulley turns
in the indicated
direction.

In this mode,
the mechanism
operates
in the sequence
