TIRE
INFI.ATION
For maximum
service
from the
tires, keep them inflated
to
the proper
pressures
-
18
psi
for the
nose
gear
and
24
psi
for
the main
gear.
All
wheels
and tires are balanced before original installation, and the
ielationship
of
tire, tube
and
wheel should be maintained
upon reinstallation. Unbalanced
wheels can
cause
extreme vibration
in
the landing gear;
therefore, in the installation of new components,
it
may be
necessary
to
rebalance
the wheels
with
the tires mounted.
When
checking
tire
pressure,
examine
the
tires
for
weat,
cuts, bruises, and slippage.
