• The Base Darwin Belted can be used only together with the Darwin Infant infant car
seat (Car System).
• The Base Darwin Belted can be used only in cars.
• IMPORTANT: The Darwin Infant car seat with the Base Darwin Belted is a restraint
system classified as "Universal Belted. " It is approved according to ECE R129 Regulation
for use with babies whose height ranges from 40 to 75 cm and a maximum weight of
13 kg. It is approved for primary use in Universal car seats, as indicated by the vehicle
manufacturer in the dedicated manual.
• The Darwin Infant car seat with the Base Darwin Belted must be installed using the
3-point vehicle safety belt approved according to UN/ECE No. 16 regulation or other
equivalent standards.
• ATTENTION! The Darwin Infant car seat with the Base Darwin Belted cannot be
used with a 2-point or lap safety belt. Installation with a 2-point safety belt may cause
serious or fatal injuries in the event of an accident.
• CAUTION! Position the Inglesina Darwin Infant Belted car system ONLY IN THE
OPPOSITE DIRECTION TO THE DRIVING ONE. Never install on seats facing rearward
or crosswise with respect to the vehicle's normal direction of travel.
• Check if there are any special requirements related to the use of restraint systems in
the law in force in the country you are in.
• Do not make any alterations or additions to the Base Darwin Belted without the
approval of the Type Approval Authority. Unauthorized technical changes can cause
the protective function of the product to be reduced or completely eliminated.
• Do not remove the adhesive and sewn labels. The removal of these labels could
result in the product not complying with the law.
• Read the instructions for the Darwin Infant child car seat carefully for further
warnings and advice on use.
• Do not use the Base Darwin Belted after 7 years from the date of production
indicated on the product; due to the natural ageing of the materials, it might not be
complying anymore with the regulations in force.
• Do not use the Inglesina Darwin Infant Belted car system, if:
- it was subject to accident, even to a slight one. It may have been subject to
invisible damages. The car system has to be replaced with a new one to assure the
safety level.
- it is damaged, not equipped with the instruction manual, or any component is
missing. Contact the Inglesina authorized Retailer or Customer Care Service
immediately.
- if it is second-hand. There could be extremely dangerous structural damage.
• THE CHILD RESTRAINT SYSTEM MUST BE
INSTALLED IN STRICT COMPLIANCE WITH THE
INSTRUCTIONS PROVIDED. FAILURE TO OBSERVE
INSTRUCTIONS/WARNINGS
COMPROMISE YOUR CHILD'S SAFETY.
