Using Your Microwave Oven
This section gives you instructions for using
each function. Please read these instructions
carefully.
AUDIBLE SIGNALS
Audible signals are available for guidance
when setting and using the oven:
• A programming tone will beep each time a
key pad is touched.
• Seven beeps signal the end of the Kitchen
Timer countdown.
• Four beeps signal the end of a cooking cycle.
CLOCK
When your microwaveoven isfirst pluggedin or
after a powerfailure, the Displaywill show "PLEASE
SET TIME OF DAY. ' ' If a time of day isnot set," :"
will show on the Displayuntilyou touch "Clock."
Example: To set the clock for 10:30 AM.

CHILD LOCK
Use this safety feature to lock the control panel
when you are cleaning the oven, or so that
children cannot use the oven unsupervised.
To set CHILD LOCK:
Touch:
Display Shows:

LOCKED appears in the
display (approximately
4 seconds).
To cancel CHILD LOCK:

KITCHEN TIMER
Your microwave oven can be used as a kitchen
timer. You can set up to 99 minutes, 99 seconds.
Example: To set for 3 minutes.
