SUPPLEMENT TO 46-408 WOOD TURNING
DUPLICATOR INSTRUCTION MANUAL
The following assembly instructions "Assembling Carriage To Duplicator Rail"; "Assembling Pattern Support Brackets
To Duplicator Rail"; "Assembling Pattern Holding Brackets To Duplicator Rail"; and "Assembling Follower Arm To
Carriage Assembly" should be performed immediately after the section "Assembling Mounting Brackets" on page 3
of
instruction
manual, part no. 1344207, for the 46-408 Wood Turning Duplicator.
In addition
the
following instructions
"Assembling
Handle Assembly To Carriage" supercede the instructions on page
8 of instruction manual.
ASSEMBLY
ASSEMBLING CARRIAGE
TO DUPLICATOR RAIL
1.
Loosen and remove screw (A) Fig. 2, and belt guide
(B) from the RIGHT END of duplicator rail
(C)
.
2.
Loosen two screws (D) Fig. 3, and raise wiper (E) and
retainer
plate
(F)
to the upmost position
.
Tighten two
screws
(D). Repeat
this
procedure on the other side of
carriage
(G).

- Page 4 ASSEMBLING HANDLE ASSEMBLY TO CARRIAGE Loosen and remove hex nut (A) Fig. 19, two flat washers and stud (C) from handle assembly (0). IMPORTANT: It may be necessary to remove wing nut (E) and remove one end of spring (F) to assemble handle to carriage assembly.
