FOX IV − QUICK-GUIDE
1) Sockets

1) Insert the door Interlock (3) and check the power
supply if needed .
3) Enter password

password you received from our
local distributor.
Enter the correct 4-digits code to
switch to the laser screen.
Factory setting: '0000'
WARNING!
Keep in mind that the used laser
might cause serious harm!
WEAR SAFETY GOGGLES, when using the laser!
CAUTION LASER DIODE: Never open the housing! Keep the device from untrained persons. There are no serviceable parts
inside the device. Maintenance and service operations can only be performed by authorized persons or A.R.C.-trained partners.

interrupt the startup and a warning message will be
displayed.

tion may be necessary as shown
above.
Preselect from the list of surgeon
names. The selected user will be
displayed in green. Press the arrow in
the upper right corner to get to the next
screen to choose the application in the
same way. The next screen will appear
- the main screen.

off-time at any value . Press the
desired area of the screen (color will
change) and adjust the value via plus
and minus-buttons or the control bar.

Push and hold (2 s) the switch to turn on the FOX IV.
The green Start-LED begins to flash during the system
check . The start-up routine will take some seconds
cause the laser check several security circuits. Please
do not touch the display during starting process as it is
being calibrated.
6) Insert fiber
Make sure to only use universal
connectors with "u.c." marking.

a "click".
The READY mode can be activated
now. The aiming beam will be vis-
ible.Withoutafiberitwillnotbe
possible to switch on the READY
mode.
