The "pre-ground coffee"
function has been selec-
ted without placing any
pre-ground coffee in the
funnel.
•
The funnel (A21) is bloc-
ked.
•
The machine must be de-
scaled.
•
Too much coffee has been
used.
•
The coffee beans have run
out.
•
The brewing unit has not
been replaced after clea-
ning.
•
The service door is open
•
The inside of the ap-
pliance is very dirty.
•
The water softener filter
(A26) must be replaced.

REMEDY
•
Extract the appliance and
place pre-ground coffee in
the funnel.
•
Empty the funnel with the
help of a knife as descri-
bed in the section "Clea-
ning
the
pre-ground
coffee funnel".
•
The descaling procedure
described in the "Desca-
ling" section needs to be
performed as soon as
possible.
•
Select a milder taste or re-
duce the quantity of pre-
ground coffee, then make
the coffee again.
•
Fill bean container
•
Insert the brewing unit as
described in the section
"Cleaning the brewing
unit".
•
Close the service door.
•
Clean the inside of the ap-
pliance thoroughly, as de-
scribed in the section
"Cleaning and mainte-
nance". If the message is
still displayed after clea-
ning, contact a customer
services.
•
You must immediately re-
place the filter following
the instructions in the
section "Replacing the fil-
ter".
