Making yoghurt requires maintaining a temperature for a period of time. Therefore, for
this program, the settings cannot be changed.
Making yoghurt is done as follows:
•
Heat 1 litre fresh whole milk to about 80 °C, then let it cool to 40 °C.
•
Stir 2 tablespoons of white yoghurt with yoghurt culture into the milk.
•
Pour the milk into the glasses. The glasses must be absolutely clean, preferably
sterilised.
•
Place the glasses in the middle of the drawer. Do not place the glasses closer than
10 cm to the back wall of the drawer. Leave space between the glasses for air
circulation.
•
Select the 'Make yoghurt' program. The program runs for 4 hours.
•
Then leave the yoghurt in the drawer for another 2 hours without heating.
•
After 10 hours of ripening in the fridge, the yoghurt is ready.
