DR-Series Scanner Line-up

The DR-1210C is a universal color scanner offering Flatbed and ADF capabilities, user-friendly

control panel, and industry leading durability. It is positioned below the DR-2050C, released in 1

half of 2005. Since entering the fast growing workgroup market segment in 2002, Canon has

performed well and increased market share. The addition of the DR-1210C to Canon's workgroup

scanner portfolio - current models include DR-2050C and DR-2580C - is expected to significantly

expand market share by targeting entry-level scanning users and general office environments.

The Canon DR-1210C incorporates the reliability and advanced image processing capabilities

inherent in Canon's DR-Scanner line to provide high-end functionality at an affordable price.

Ideal for distributed imaging and general office workloads, the DR-1210C scanner's user-friendly

and durable design make it an attractive desktop scanning solution for most small workgroups

and SOHO offices.

The DR-1210C inherits Canon's renowned feeding reliability and advanced image processing

capabilities standard among DR-Scanners, including Advanced Text Enhancement, Auto Page

Size Detection, Deskew, and Text Orientation Recognition. The DR-1210C comes with Canon's

newly introduced Workgroup Scanner Limited Warranty, which has been extended to 1 year from

standard DR-Series 90 day warranty (Please refer to DR-1210C Warranty Card in packaging for

details). Post warranty exchange service is available through an optional 2-year carePAK

Exchange Program. The DR-1210C employs a distinctive design from other DR-Series Scanners

and features Simplex only scanning with the ADF.
