Part Descriptions

The basic retrofit kit provides the photo-eyes, reflectors, ZF modules (solenoid-
valves), and mounting components required for two operational zones. The following
table describes the basic kit and the various components required to complete the
upgrade.
Note: If there are existing Humphrey Gen 1.5 modules and associated photo-eyes
on other equipment in the facility, use the NPN version module (ZF legacy) for spare
parts compatibility. The part numbers are different and are listed below.
Intermediate Zone Kit (for two 3-foot)
The kit includes one ZF module with configurable photo-eye and
reflector options (if required), an adapter bracket, and mounting
hardware.
Configurable Options:
•
Standard retro-reflective photo-eye and mounting bracket
•
Time delay photo-eye and mounting bracket
•
Under-roller photo-eye and mounting bracket
•
No photo-eye (selected if re-using existing photo-eye or
ordering side guide mounted photo-eyes)
Tubing*
•
For supply air connection between modules (clear 1/2-inch OD)
•
For connection from modules to air diaphragms (black 1/4-inch
OD)
* Pre-cut tubing will not be included in the kit. Order long length of
tubing equal to the conveyor length and cut on-site.
Power Supply
Used to provide power to zone control modules and photo-eyes.
Includes power supply and one T-cable.
One power supply per conveyor:
•
Can power a maximum of 35 modules if located in the middle.
•
Can power a maximum of 30 modules if located on one end.
Extension Cable
Optional: Order when distance
between modules exceeds 6-feet.
