Troubleshooting Chart
Problem Before requesting repair, check the following items:
No picture on screen ¢ Is the Power Base turned on?
Is the AC adaptor properly plugged in?
¢ Is the TV turned on?
¢ Is there power to the wall socket?
¢ Is the Cartridge properly inserted?
¢ Have you confused the RF Jack with the AC
Adaptor Jack? (Except French model)
¢ Review the connections between the antenna cable,
Power Base and TV terminals. (Except French model}
¢ Is the RF switch set to "RF" position?
(Except French model)
¢ Review the connections between the Power Base and
Peritel terminals. (French model)
e Is the TV tuned to the correct channel?
(New Zealand model)
¢ Is the selected TV channel correctly tuned to the
Power Base? (New Zealand model)
Screen flickers or no e Are the antenna cables properly connected?
color (Except French model)
¢ Is the TV channel fine tune adjustment properly set?
(Except French model)
¢ Are the TV color controls properly set?
¢ Is the Cartridge properly inserted?
e Is the TV volume too low or off?
e Have the connection cables come loose or become
disconnected?
No game sound
¢ Adjust the vertical and horizontal hold controls on
your TV.
Picture on TV screen
is not steady
Fringes appear on TV | ¢ Adjust the manual fine tuning controls on the TV.

¢ Is the antenna cable properly connected?
¢ Make sure that you have turned off the power on the
Power Base.
¢ Is the RF switch set to "ANT" position?

¢ Is not the Peritel Cable connected? (French model)
