Druckfilter – pressure filter

Important! The pressure filter must not be allowed to run dry. Damage to
the UV-c cannot be excluded.
Make sure that the pressure filter is switched off when there is no water
flow.
Choose a suitable location for the pressure filter.
Do not place the pressure filter in direct sunlight.
o
Place the pressure filter on a flat, horizontal surface, using a
o
large tile if necessary.
The pressure filter can be buried about 2/3 of the way down
o
(just below the clamping ring). Make sure that the pressure
filter is easily accessible for service and maintenance.
Connecting pipes: Choose large pipes in the table on page 3.
On pages 6-7 we indicate which hose fittings are supplied with the
filters, these have the optimum Ø for a pipe length of up to 10m. (If you
choose other lengths and diameters, please consult with your dealer).
Choice of hose:
a.
Attach the supplied connection piece from bag A or B (page 6)
to the inlet (A) of the pressure filter.
Connect the hose coming from the pump to this with the
appropriate Ø hose. Use hose clamps to clamp the hose
watertight to the hose connector.
b.
Install one of the provided connectors from bag D or E (page 7)
on the outlet (F) of the pressure filter.
Connect the hose returning to the pond (or elsewhere.) Use
hose clamps to clamp the hose tightly to the hose coupling. The
maximum head after the pressure filter should not exceed 1m.
c.
Install one of the provided connectors from bag D or E (page 7)
on the dirty water outlet (G) of the pressure filter.
Connect to this the hose that runs to the sewer, in the garden
(or elsewhere) for draining the dirty water when flushing. Use
hose clamps to clamp the hose watertight to the hose
connector.
Choice PVC tubing:
The transparent hose grommets of the VarioPress Pro E-25, E-35, E-55
and E-70 (pages 6-7) can be glued to PVC fittings also flexible couplings
can be used. Use the correct size fittings and PVC glue to connect PVC
pipes to the pressure filter. When using Ø63mm PVC pipe, an additional
coupler will be required (not included with the pressure filter).
a.
Mount the provided connector from bag A or B (page 6) on the
inlet (A) of the pressure filter.
Connect the PVC pipe coming from the pump to this with the
appropriate Ø pipe.
b.
Install one of the provided connectors from bag D or E (page 7)
on the outlet (F) of the pressure filter.
Connect the PVC pipe returning to the pond (or elsewhere.) The
maximum head after the pressure filter should not exceed 1m.
