INHIBIT

NORM
(center)

pushbutton

light

PPI
lights

on,
then
check
the
oosition
of the TRANSPARENCY switch.

HOW TO CALL A TIME SHARING
COMPUTER
To demonstrate how easy it
is
to
use
your
TermiNet
300
Printer, follow the simple steps
listed below to call
a
time sharing computer.
You
should
remember two things when talking
to the computer

1. After every entry of information
you
must
press
the RETURN key (at right
side
of
the
keyboard).
Until
you
press
the
RETURN
key y the computer
does
not
know
you
have
finished
entering your information.
2. Computer time costs money. If you are
interrupted
when
talking
to
the
computer,
hang
up
and
call
again
rather than accumulating charges
for
idle time.
INFORMATION NEEDED BEFORE CALLING COMPUTER
The
following information should be obtained
from your manager before attempting
to
call
the computer. You may fill in the information
in the spaces left between the brackets.
1. Computer Telephone

require
the
Identification
Number, Program
Name, or System; in that casey you may ignore
