To change the resolution
1 When using the camera, tap
2 Tap Resolution or Video resolution.
3 Select the resolution and close the settings menu. The setting is saved.
When using the main camera, the resolution can be set separately for each of the capturing
modes. The front camera resolution options are the same in all capturing modes.
Photo resolutions
Main camera:
19MP
5056×3792 (4:3). 19 MP resolution with 4:3 aspect ratio. Suitable for photos you
want to view on non-widescreen displays or print in high resolution.
17MP
5504×3096 (16:9). 17 MP resolution with 16:9 aspect ratio. Suitable for photos you
want to view on widescreen displays.
12MP
4000×3000 (4:3). 12 MP resolution with 4:3 aspect ratio. Suitable for photos you
want to view on non-widescreen displays or print in high resolution.
12MP
4608×2592 (16:9). 12 MP resolution with 16:9 aspect ratio. Suitable for photos you
want to view on widescreen displays.
Front camera:
13MP
4160×3120 (4:3). 13 MP resolution with 4:3 aspect ratio. Suitable for photos you
want to view on non-widescreen displays or print in high resolution.
10MP
4192×2358 (16:9). 10 MP resolution with 16:9 aspect ratio. Suitable for photos you
want to view on widescreen displays.
Video resolutions
HD refers to high definition, while fps refers to frames per second. A higher fps rate
provides a smoother video, at the cost of a larger file size. The aspect ratio is the
relationship between the width and the height, where the width is the first
number.
Main camera:
4K
3840×2160 (16:9). 4K format with 16:9 aspect ratio. With 4K, you can record
videos in four times the resolution of Full HD.
Full HD (30 fps)
1920×1080 (16:9). Full HD format with 30 fps and 16:9 aspect ratio.
Full HD (60 fps)
1920×1080 (16:9). Full HD format with 60 fps and 16:9 aspect ratio.
HD
1280×720 (16:9). HD format with 16:9 aspect ratio.
