on the telephone line from an incom¬
ing call.
A connection was not established.
Your command cannot be executed
because of a syntax error, an invalid
character format or command, or
because more than 40 characters
were entered.
CONNECT 1200
NO DIALTONE
BUSY
A connection has been made at
1200 bps.
No dial tone has been detected.
The dialed number is busy.
*The basic set of modem messages includes messages 0, 1, 3, and 4.
**The extended set includes all seven commands, which allow you to
monitor the progress of your call and your communication speed.
